How this works
Drag the crop frame over the part of the image you want to keep — coordinates are clamped automatically to the image's actual size, so the frame can't select outside the original photo even if you drag past the edge.
Common questions
Does cropping reduce image quality?
No — the kept region is copied at its original resolution, pixel for pixel; only the parts outside the frame are discarded, nothing inside it is resampled or compressed unless you also change the output format.
Can I crop to an exact pixel size?
The frame is drag-based for visual cropping; for an exact pixel size, crop roughly first, then use Resize afterward to hit an exact width and height.
