What's the difference between this and Remove Pages?
They're opposites — Extract Pages keeps only the pages you specify and discards the rest; Remove Pages keeps everything except the pages you specify. Same underlying mechanism, inverted selection.
Does extracting pages keep them searchable if the original had real text?
Yes — pages are copied at the object level, not flattened to images, so selectable text, embedded fonts and image quality carry over unchanged.
