What does this data storage converter convert?
Data sizes range from a single bit up to petabytes. This tool converts cleanly between all common units. (Uses 1 KB = 1024 bytes — the IEC binary convention; some manufacturers use 1 KB = 1000 bytes for marketing.)
How conversion works
All units convert via bits. 1 byte = 8 bits, 1 KB = 1024 bytes, 1 MB = 1024 KB, etc.
