Pace, time and distance

pace = time ÷ distance  ·  time = pace × distance  ·  distance = time ÷ pace

Enter any two and the third is calculated. Pick a race from the distance menu to fill it in exactly (a half marathon is 21.0975 km; a marathon 42.195 km).

Common questions

Why does it need exactly two of the three fields?

Distance, time and pace are mathematically locked together — any two fix the third, so asking for all three would be redundant, and could conflict if they don't quite agree.

Where do the race distances come from?

Standard official distances — a half marathon is exactly 21.0975 km and a marathon 42.195 km, both fixed by World Athletics, not rounded figures.
