How this works
Each platform preset (Instagram post, Story, Facebook cover, YouTube thumbnail, etc.) has its own exact pixel dimensions — the image is scaled to fill that frame completely and cropped at the edges as needed, rather than being squeezed or letterboxed to fit.
Common questions
Will my image get cropped?
Possibly, yes — the fill-frame scaling crops whatever extends past the edges once the image fills the target frame. If your subject is near the edge of the original photo, check the preview before downloading in case it gets cut off.
Where do these exact pixel dimensions come from?
They're each platform's current recommended dimensions for that specific placement — these do occasionally change as platforms update their specs, so if something looks off, the platform may have adjusted its requirements since.
