What is URL encoding?
URL encoding (or percent encoding) replaces characters that have special meaning in URLs — or that are not allowed at all — with a percent sign followed by two hex digits. For example, a space becomes %20.
Examples

|---|---|
| space | %20 |
| ? | %3F |
| & | %26 |
| = | %3D |
| # | %23 |
| é | %C3%A9 |
